Why Cover video game music on classical guitar?
As a huge fan of Hollow Knight whose spent hundreds of hours playing through the game and battling punishingly difficult enemies and bosses, the soundtrack is what captivated me and kept me coming back for more. The dark and melancholy music that plays throughout Hollow Knight paints a vivid picture of Hallownest as a once thriving kingdom that’s since fallen into ruin.
It’s rare when a game checks all the boxes for me: solid gameplay, immersive backstory, genuinely challenging (but not repetitive), and a rich soundtrack that ties it all together. Hollow Knight is a masterpiece, and as a lifelong gamer and self-proclaimed nerd, I don’t throw that word around lightly.
