Is there a song out there you would absolutely LOVE to play on your guitar, but you just can’t find the tabs? Or maybe the cover you found just didn’t quite do the song justice and you want something better. Trust me - we’ve all been there! As a guitarist of over 25 years, this has been the story of my life (and the reason I started my YouTube channel! covering my favorite songs on guitar!)

There’s an infinite number of ways to adapt a piece of music to guitar, but there’s only a handful of ways to arrange something that’s both fun to play and enjoyable to listen to. The guitar is a polyphonic instrument, meaning several notes can be played at the same time making it ideal for solo performance across many genres. But despite the guitar’s flexibility, arranging a song for one guitar that’s actually playable, repeatable, and true enough to the original is a tedious process requiring lots of time and creativity.

WHAT YOU’LL GET

  • A custom classical/fingerstyle guitar arrangement of your favorite song, complete with tabs and sheet music in PDF and GuitarPro format.

  • A one-on-one chat with me on Discord/Zoom to discuss the details of your order, establish your level of skill, and update you on the progress along the way.

  • Unlimited edits/revisions of your arrangement as needed.

REQUIREMENTS & LIMITATIONS OF SERVICE:

  • 3-4 minute maximum song duration; anything exceeding 4 minutes will require a custom order.

  • 3 voice maximum (bass, melody, harmony) adapted from original song to guitar; anything more than that starts to become unplayable on guitar.

  • Transposition from original key, meaning the final guitar arrangement will likely be in a different key than the original song. Only a handful of keys are “guitar friendly” meaning they take advantage of as many open strings as possible. For example, a song in the original key of Bb-minor would likely be transposed to A-minor.

How long does an order typically take? The time to delivery varies widely depending on the overall complexity of the original song, the total number of voices/instruments, key modulation, the length, etc. Over the years, I’ve covered songs that took as little as two hours to arrange to songs that took me over six months!

Why is it so expensive? Arranging a piece of music for solo classical/fingerstyle guitar that’s both enjoyable to play and listen to is extremely time intensive. The fee is representative of the time required to fulfill your order as promised within my current production schedule, and deliver to you a high-quality custom guitar arrangement that I would play myself.

Are there any refunds? Your order will be refunded in full only under the following conditions:

  • If I cannot cover the song on guitar - this happens more often than you’d think! If you place an order and I later conclude that I simply cannot deliver a quality arrangement then you’ll get a full refund. A “quality arrangement” in this case is (1) something I would enjoy playing myself and (2) be proud to post on my YouTube channel.

  • If you’re genuinely unhappy with your arrangement and have given me an honest chance to address your concerns, make the necessary edits/revisions, then you’ll get a partial refund.

How will I be kept up to date on my order? Email, Discord, or Zoom (or a combination of all 3.) Updates will be provided to you on a weekly basis or as agreed upon at the start of your order. Updates may include: notes on your arrangement as it progresses, WIP copies of your arrangement in PDF/GuitarPro/MP3, video playthrough, etc.
